Who’s excited about Fall!? We are over here at FASHOM. Pumpkin spice, layering, and colorful leaves are what we are waiting for! The best part about Fall is the fashion that gets to be worn. Long trench coats, fuzzy hats, and layering pieces together is so fun to incorporate in your wardrobe. Unlike sweltering hot seasons and brutally cold winters, Fall doesn’t limit you to wearing your favorite pieces. It’s no secret Fall reigns supreme with style. Here are the upcoming Fall trends to expect this 2019 season.
1. Belted Trenches
Blazers and suited trenches stole our hearts many moons ago, but this season we will be expecting to see more feminine silhouettes with structured trenches this season. Trench coats with a belt or elastic waist will give the figure a more curvaceous look this season, which will implement a groundbreaking trend. Above are examples of the belted trenches.
2. The Longer the Coat, the Better
Trench coats are fun to style and layer. However, they’re even more interesting when they fall below the knee. This will help you stay warm when the weather begins to chill. Play around with different patterns and textures for a crisper and sharper look. Some bold prints such as cranberry and orange will master this look.
3. Asymmetrical Neck Lines
Fun, flirty, and fierce, asymmetrical necklines are super eclectic. The peek-a-boo look can bring a sexy and playful feel to the entire ensemble. While the weather still permits, show off that one-shoulder look with the over-sized sweater technique and loose fitted tops.
4. A Palooza of Plaid
Plaid has made a 90’s comeback many seasons ago, and it just seems to never go out of style. Plaid scarfs, plaid skirts, and plaid shirts will always be a statement piece for the colder seasons. Just like florals for spring, plaid is groundbreaking for the fall. Everyone should have a plaid piece in their wardrobe – and that’s an order!
5. Shades of Pistachio
One wouldn’t think that green is much of a Fall color, but shades of pistachio have been roaming the fashion industry since the spring and summer and it’s not stopping there. get decorative with different shades of green, from mint, forest green, and emerald. These hues bring out the excitement for Christmas – which is never too soon to celebrate for!
